Alexandre Mars is a successful entrepreneur, engaged philanthropist, digital expert and author.

He is regularly named on the lists of the top philanthropists and visionaries including the Town & Country's Top 50 Philanthropists of 2018. In 2016, he was awarded Europe’s prestigious Trophée de l’Avenir as “Personality of the Future”. Mars is also a board member of Paris 2024 as administrator and representative of civil society.

Over the past 20 years, he has successfully created and sold numerous companies in Europe and North America in a variety of industries including venture capital, Internet, mobile marketing, social media and digital advertising. His last two startups, Phonevalley (the largest global mobile marketing agency) and ScrOOn (a leader in social media management systems), were sold to Publicis Groupe and Blackberry.

Since 2014, he has primarily focused on Epic, a nonprofit startup which amplifies people's potential to make a difference through giving.  His first book, The Sharing Revolution published in 2018 explains his vision: today, companies face a cultural and societal change because purpose has become the new currency. In order to remain relevant in today’s world, they have to embrace this shift by sharing their success and placing social impact at the core of their strategy.

Alongside Epic, Mars founded blisce/, a cross-border tech fund which invests in startups like Spotify, Casper and Pinterest. This fund allows him to fully fund Epic.

Mars' areas of expertise span social disruption, innovation technologies, positive revolution, millennials and purpose, philanthropy 3.0 and innovation at the service of social good.
