Sarah Carey is a columnist and broadcaster. 

Currently writing for The Irish Times, she’s previously written highly regarded columns for The Irish Times, The Sunday Independent and occasionally, The Daily Telegraph. As the long time presenter of Talking Point with Sarah Carey on Newstalk radio (2011-18) she was critically praised for her approach which managed to combine rigorous intelligence but with light, good humoured touch.

While Carey has her eye on society and media, she has a particular interest in economics especially political economy and behavioural economics. But with a corporate history in telecommunications and technology she can turn her hand to the most technical of issues.
