Michael K Needham PhD has gained deep and wide experience over 22 years from international roles for Procter & Gamble and PricewaterhouseCoopers, to two failed tech start-ups of his own and a spell as an academic on MBA programs for operational excellence and digital disruption.

He currently leads a niche consulting practice focused on organizational transformation and change management based in New York City with clients across the USA and Western Europe.

In addition to his advisory business, Michael has spun out from his PhD research a proprietary gamified approach to coaching superior performance called Stratadice™.

The Stratadice™ platform aims to disrupt the current approaches to staff appraisals by identifying internal behavioral barriers to success and creating a personal pathway of improvement for its users. This approach has been tested across finance, pharmaceutical, health and education organizations with associated benefits in higher employee morale, higher productivity, and longer employment tenure. The Stratadice™ platform launched with an initial focus on resilience, with a new addition launching in early 2023 focused on digital wellbeing and productivity.

Michael has strong interpersonal skills and is an excellent communicator with a personable approach to public speaking that offers comfort and confidence to the audience by way of his depth of knowledge and ability to distill it into real day to day insights.  

He holds a bachelor’s degree with honors in Economics from Queens University Belfast Northern Ireland, a master’s degree in Purchasing & Supply Chain Management from the Robert Gordon University Scotland and a doctorate on organizational transformation from Ulster University Belfast Northern Ireland.  

Originally from the border region of Ireland and now resides in the New York City region of the USA. Michael is a regular traveler between the US and Europe is open to opportunities internationally.
