Kevin Bridges is Scotland's biggest export. Dubbed as 'brilliant' by Billy Connelly and ‘a MUST-SEE act’ by Daily Mirror, Bridges first made his debut at The Edinburgh Playhouse on BBC1's 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' in 2009. Overnight success followed with Bridges selling out his run at the Edinburgh Festival in just a day.
His astonishing rise to success continued in 2010, when he recorded his debut DVD ‘The Story So Far…’ at a sold out Glasgow SECC arena in front of an audience 10,000. The DVD was released later that year and went on to out-sell Frankie Boyle and Billy Connolly.
In 2011 he became the host of Channel 4's 'Stand Up For The Week' and headlined an episode of 'Michael McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow' from the Glasgow King's Theatre. In 2012 he also hosted the long running series of 'Live At The Apollo' and presented a six-part documentary 'Kevin Bridges – What's The Story' all for BBC1.
His autumn 2012 tour, ‘Kevin Bridges – The Story Continues…’, smashed box office records for opening day ticket sales. A staggering 45,000 tickets were sold on the first day, selling out an incredible nine-show run at the Glasgow SECC Arena. His second DVD was a top 5 bestseller in 2012 and is still riding high in the charts with over 300,000 sales.
