Dave Clark works with the world’s greatest entrepreneurs to help them achieve their moonshot ideas. He started his career building Virgin Galactic, the world's first commercial spaceline, with Sir Richard Branson. As Head of Astronaut Relations, he recruited more than 700 people to be among the first space tourists. After investing in the seed round of Uber, Clark was asked to join the company by Travis Kalanick in 2013. As Senior Advisor to the CEO and Head of External Affairs, Clark focused on expanding the company into 63 counties around the world. He left Uber in 2017 to join Larry Page and Sebastian Thrun in their work on eVTOL company Kittyhawk. He led the Strategic Development of the flying car company where their mission is to free the world from traffic. Dave now invests and advises startups such at Virgin Hyperloop One and America’s Cup hopefuls Stars and Stripes.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Dave earned a Guinness world record for completing the London marathon tied to 35 other runners while dressed as a giant caterpillar. He also tried, and failed, to kite board from England to France.
