The London Speaker Bureau recently held a Speaker Reception, which took place in central London.
More than 150 guests attended the event, which was organised by Maria Franzoni, and it gave selected clients the opportunity to meet some of our most distinguished speakers in an informal setting.
Amongst the speakers attending were Terry Waite (pictured), the former Advisor to the Archbishop of Canterbury who was held hostage in the Lebanon for nearly five years; Lord Robert Winston, the medical pioneer; Sahar Hashemi, the founder of Coffee Republic; Gerald Ratner, the jewellery retailer; Roger Black, the Olympic athlete; Sinclair Beecham, the co-founder of Pret A Manger; Doug Richard from Dragon's Den; Hamish McRae, the economics editor of the Independent newspaper.
